Jess Smith is an accomplished sports business executive, most recently appointed to lead the Golden State Valkyries WNBA franchise. Jess is recognized for her dynamic business approach and unwavering commitment to excellence both on and off the court.
Prior to joining Golden State, Jess was Head of Revenue at Angel City Football Club. There, she pioneered a partnership model that integrated revenue growth with social impact, channeling investments into community initiatives around equity and education. Under Jess’s stewardship, the club achieved an exceptional season ticket renewal rate exceeding 90% and set new standards for community-driven sports business.
Jess has been recognized as a 2023 Sports Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree and as part of the 2023 Leaders in Sport Under 40 class.
