Austin Russell

Austin Russell is the founder and CEO of Luminar Technologies, a leader in light/radar technology (LiDAR) for the automotive industry. Austin founded the company in 2012, at age 17, on a mission to create the next generation of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), to make driving safer and accidents less frequent. Luminar is motivated by their goal of saving 100 million lives and 100 trillion hours over the next 100 years.
