I had written my first book, Bobby Brown Beauty, and I was on book tour. At the end of the talk, I said, are there any questions? And there was a very little old lady sitting in the back with red hair, and I went over to her, answered her question, and she grabbed my arm, and I don't know why, but she said, are you Jewish? And I'm like, yeah, I am, why? And she said, because I'm so proud of you. As a Jewish girl, you've done so much. It's incredible. I said, thank you. She said, I've seen you on the Today Show. I had been on once. And she said, is there anything else you want to do? I said, I'd like to be a regular on the Today Show. Why I said that, I don't know. She said, honey, Jeff Zucker's my grandson. So he was the executive producer of the Today Show, and that's how I got on, and I stayed on for 14 years, once a month for 14 years.
