Spencer is the CEO of Match Group and the co-founder and CEO of 75 & Sunny Ventures, a start-up studio and early-stage investment firm. A serial entrepreneur and Harvard professor of entrepreneurship, he has co-founded several successful companies including Zillow, Hotwire, Pacaso, Queue, heyLibby, and House Whisper.
During his decade-long tenure as CEO of Zillow, Spencer led the company through significant growth — expanding to over 4,500 employees, generating $3 billion in revenue, and achieving a $10 billion market capitalization. Under his leadership, Zillow earned dozens of “best places to work” awards.
Before Zillow, he co-founded Hotwire and served as VP of Corporate Development. Hotwire was acquired by Expedia for $685 million in 2003.
