Richard Dickson

Richard Dickson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Gap Inc., where he oversees a global portfolio of iconic American brands generating over $15 billion in annual revenue. Prior to this role, he built a career transforming major companies, notably serving as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Mattel. Throughout his executive journey, he has also held leadership positions at The Jones Group and Bloomingdale’s, and co-founded the high-end cosmetics e-commerce platform Gloss.com.

He was the executive producer role for the 2023 blockbuster Barbie, which became the year’s highest-grossing film. Under his strategic guidance, Mattel elevated global powerhouses like Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Fisher-Price into the number-one properties in their respective categories.
