Mark Cuban, a Pittsburgh native and Indiana University graduate, has been an entrepreneur from a young age, eventually building and selling multiple successful companies. After moving to Dallas, he founded MicroSolutions and later co-founded Audionet/Broadcast.com, which became the first major streaming company and sold to Yahoo for $5.7 billion. He went on to purchase the Dallas Mavericks, transforming team ownership and leading the franchise to the 2011 NBA Championship. Cuban also launched influential media ventures like HDNet and 2929 Productions, produced award-nominated films, and became a well-known investor on Shark Tank. More recently, he co-founded Cost Plus Drugs to lower prescription costs and supported innovations in vestibular rehabilitation. He lives in Dallas with his wife and three children.
