Maia Josebachvili

Maia is a senior executive and board leader with deep experience scaling companies at the intersection of technology, AI, and global commerce. At Stripe, she has held multiple executive roles, managing a $XB P&L across Sales, Product & Engineering, Strategy, M&A, and HR, with direct responsibility for growth, operating discipline, and talent. She currently leads the AI business, partnering closely with founders and CEOs during periods of rapid growth and transformation.

Maia is active in the startup and investment ecosystem, serving as an advisor at GV (Google Ventures), a Board Director at Brightwheel, and a Trustee at Dartmouth College. Previously, Maia founded and scaled Urban Escapes, an e-commerce travel company that was recognized by Inc. 30 Under 30 and later acquired by LivingSocial, where she went on to serve as GM of New Business Initiatives. She later held executive leadership roles at Greenhouse as CMO and VP of Strategy & People. Across her career, she has helped scale multiple organizations from early stage to global platforms—supporting growth from 1 to 10,000+ employees.

Earlier in her career, Maia was a derivatives trader on Wall Street and a mechanical engineer. She has also (briefly) been a professional skydiver — because curiosity and calculated risk-taking tend to show up in all chapters of her life.
