Jim Farley
CEO
Jim Farley, an avid automotive enthusiast and CEO of Ford Motor Company, is driving the brand’s electric and digital transformation through the “Ford+” strategy. Under his guidance, Ford restructured into three specialized divisions: Ford Blue (gas and hybrid), Ford Model e (EVs and software), and Ford Pro (commercial fleets).
Before taking the helm as CEO, Farley served in several top-tier roles at Ford—including Chief Operating Officer—and was pivotal in revitalizing the Lincoln brand. Prior to joining Ford in 2007, he built an impressive resume at Toyota and Lexus, where he notably spearheaded the launch of the Scion brand.
Outside the automotive sector, Farley serves on the McDonald’s board of directors. He is also deeply committed to philanthropy, recently chairing a successful $40 million capital campaign for the Pope Francis Center in Detroit. Farley earned his degrees from Georgetown University and UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
