Adept
David Luan is the CEO and co-founder of Adept, an AI company training a model that can do anything a human can do on a computer. Before Adept, David was VP Engineering at OpenAI from 2017-2020, where he oversaw the fundamental research, language, supercomputing, RL, safety, and policy teams, shipping models like GPT, CLIP, and DALL-E. He then co-led Google Brain and led Google’s giant model efforts. David has a BS in Applied Math and Political Science from Yale.
