Brooks’ career began uniquely as a professional French horn player before he transitioned into academia, eventually earning a PhD in public policy. His leadership during this period earned him recognition as one of Fortune’s “50 World’s Greatest Leaders.” Throughout his journey, he has been honored with seven honorary doctorates for his multidisciplinary contributions.
