The course combines real-world experience and scale-up lessons from Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn co-founder and Greylock partner) and distinguished guests, blended with curated podcast content and best-of-the-best HBS Case Studies. Each two-hour class will focus on a different critical tension of scaling up, and will be led by a different HBS faculty member; Reid himself will teach the sixth and final class.
Enrollment is limited to 60 participants who will interact with professors and one another in Harvard Business School Online’s Live virtual classroom. Community discussion will be extended via a Slack channel to 300 observers. The course will run weekly on Wednesday evenings, 6:30–9pm Eastern, from October 9 to November 16.
